Tor's day

In the Nordic myth, the god of thunder as we all know is Thor. The Scandinavians call him Tor, and since they name a few days after their gods we get Torsdag i.e. Thor's day i.e. Thursday. Is it any coincidence that on this booming, thundery Torsdag that I'm praying for a power outage? I think not. No power = No work.
